The day after Olof Palme was shot in 1986, Hans Holmér was the man who stood up and took charge and headed the first investigation. By then he was the lead investigator about to solve the biggest crime in Swedish history. He was a legend in Sweden, and employed in the highest and most secret positions in the Swedish society. In 1986 he was named 'Swede of the year' for his effort in finding the murderer. An effort you can read more about in this article.
I have added a bit of background information about Olof Palme. It is useful to know about his background when you are looking into the murder conspiracies. Olof had a lot of enemies, and even his family did not like his politics - some might even suggest that they hated it. You will just find very basic information in this article, but I am sure that we will learn much more when we dive into the many topics surrounding the conspiracy theories.

Umbraco is a fantastic CMS and I can highly recommend it if your business is online. I have been working a lot with it at several companies, and as a freelance consultant. Every solution is unique and customized to make it the best product. The most impressive experience when delivering an Umbraco solution to a client is the lack of bug-fixes and need for maintenance. Umbraco just works if it is coded correctly.
An epic bank robbery turned into a hostage situation in central Stockholm in 1973. The police managed to make complete asses out of themselves, because of their incompetence in handling this type of situation. But like usually in Sweden the system manages to spin the story to make it look like the hostages are the bad guys, and that the police should be called heroes. A strange little man is consulting the police, and leaves a trail of dirt behind him. The story about the incident is scary. Looking back, you can see how the system controlled the Swedish public, and how the truth was and is swept under the rug.
Microsoft Edge makes me drool because of how it increases my work experience. It's a joy to be taken serious as a user, and to see how a great work-related browser works in 2024.
Take a look at my article to see why it is so great, and why the features are incredibly useful and easy to use. The collaboration possibilities are enourmous as well. Even Mozilla rates Edge really high!
As a civilian he was appointed Lieutenant General of the U.S. Army. Why would this happen to anyone? William S. Knudsen had a remarkable life, and chose to make an impact when his country called for him. A country he wasn't born in, but a country who gave him an opportunity to pursue happiness.
What he did had an impact on our lifes today, and you probably never heard of him.
With a DPN you can easily change location in a few seconds just like a VPN. The concept is based on peer-to-peer networking. But the DPN also helps protecting you from malicious attacks, tracking, blocking ads and optimizing your privacy online. The DPN is a small device which you connect to the www through, and when you got the device usage is free. I love my Deeper Connect Pico device, which is the small portable version.
I use it for derka.org, so I thought someone other than me might need it as well. It's very template-like, but it's simple, easy, quick and it works.
When I started digging I kept finding more dirt. Lennart Geijer was another nasty person in a powerful position in Sweden during the 60's and 70's. He was a close friend to Olof Palme and Hans Holmér amongst others, and a Social Democrat. His claim to fame is a scandal, which includes intelligence reports about Geijer's use of minor girls for sexual favors.
It is one of those speeches that can make you cry. It is a speech of a true visionary during a time when the Cold War was freezing. He talk about peace in ways i've never though of myself, and I can wonder about the meaning for days.

I gotta say that you can find a browser for almost every need out there. Microsoft's Edge browser makes online work and collaboration fun and easy, so I had to write about it.. You are looking at it. derka.org is a Google Sites project, and I decided to share some insights and tips about it. I had never heard about Google Sites even though I have been working in the software industry for more than 10 years. Give me a shout if you want to get a new website with Google Sites, or read about my experience.
A mysterious and strange country is revealed through the tale of the murder of their Prime Minister, Olof Palme, in 1986. It is absurd, exciting and addicting to read and hear about, so fair warning: If you start reading about it, your chances of being dragged into it are quite good.
The conspiracy theories and investigations following the Palme Murder is a window into what kind of society Sweden was during the Cold War era. A country full of mistrust, secret societies, money, weapons and natural resources. A country that wants the benefits of the West, but to please the USSR - their large neighbour - as well.
It is said that more than 500,000 pages of docuementation from and about the investigations exists, and less than 10% has been released to the public.
