Sometimes you just want to find what you are looking for right away. No need for features, just the need for speed. Here's a few browsers you might want to try.
If you like a fast browser Via might be the one for you. It is a browser dedicated to Android and iOS. Via is quite fast, with a simple interface to avoid distractions.
Waterfox is one of the browsers I got my sight on in the year 20-24. Waterfox works on both Windows and Android, which is enough for me. I can also see support for MacOS and Linux, but am not so sure about iOS. Waterfox focus on the key parameters for a lite browser in my opinion: Speed and privacy. The browser works very well when it comes to speed, especially on my Android, and you got a lot of neat privacy settings. I am no expert on that matter though. I can find many people recommending the browser around the web, and I would recommend you to at least try it out. It is not good for everything, but for quick browsing I like it.
It is based on the same engine as Firefox, and was created by a 16 year old guy many year ago.
Firefox Focus is the most frequently used browser when browsing on my Android phone. The UX is made for speed and focus - simple. It's fast and secure. I use it with incognito mode and secure settings by default, so I minimize tracking. Furthermore, they say that the minimized tracking makes it faster. I'm not sure what they are doing, but it works quite well.
I could have mentioned a bunch of other browsers that are focused on speed and privacy. These are the top dogs if you want a Lite browser.
I have found so many alternatives and honestly it's becoming a larger jungle out there. So much of my time are spent in a browser, and so much data can be collected if you're not careful. I'm probably a bit conservative when it comes to browsers, and choose to stick to what I know and the spinoff versions. Even the Via browser has been made by a guy with a Chinese sounding name, which makes me a bit vary. But whatever, I'm not really that interesting if he wants to peep at my data, but I hope he won't.
Learning new stuff is always exciting, and the various browsers certainly introduces new concepts and features, which I'm sure I'll use in the future. It just has to feel right. I might start digging into them when I got more time.
If you know about a great Lite browser that's not on this page, and want to share it - please give me a shout
