The name 'PowerToys' make it sound like some geeky nerds named it. Which is pretty cool! PowerToys is a neat set of features for WIndows you want to know about.
I have often wondered why I need to install an old program to get a color picker in Windows, or why there is no pixel ruler. Simple tools that are amongst the most important for a technical project manager. The Snipping Tool in Windows is probably in my Top 5 'most used apps'.
Apparantly you can get a whole bunch of this type of useful tools for Windows 11. They are called Microsoft PowerToys and can be installed at the Microsoft Store (for Free).
Take a look at the list of features in PowerToys at the Microsoft site
PowerToys in general are based on using keyboard shortcuts. In order to get the most out of PowerToys you'll have to learn the keyboard shortcuts for the tools you want to use. When you have learned these shortcuts, your access to these tools are right at your hand. Since there are many useful tools you will probably increase your workflows steadily.
I'll recommend you to take a glance at the feature overview and try a few of the most useful features out. Perhaps write some of the shortcuts down, so they are easily available for you, and try using them for a few days. You can also take advantage of the shortcut guide here.
You can achieve a lot with your keyboard, which can change how you work. It is much faster than using a mouse, or a great addition to the mouse, when you get used to it.
I love tools like Microsoft PowerToys, and would love recommendations. Please give me a shout in case you want to share some great tools with me.
